June 16-Deedee visits CO Coors Brewery and Rockies vs. Braves Game

On June 16th, my great friend from high school, Deedee Love came to visit. On Monday we went to the Coors Brewery and to the Rockies vs. Braves game. The Braves won the game. My favorite Rockies player, Brad Hawpe did hit a triple!!

June 15th Garden of the Gods

After our long hike, we drove through the Garden of the Gods. Check out the cool rock formations.

June 15th Manitou Hike

On June 15th, we went to Colorado Springs, CO. We went to Colorado Springs to hike Manitou and then to check out the Garden of the Gods. The hike was very tough, but well worth it once we got to the top. Patrick and I had a Little trouble with the altitude, but we made it to the top. We took the 4 mile trail down the mountain. We took many pictures. Enjoy!

June 11, 2008

On June 11th, Patrick and I spent the day with a friend of mine, Geoffrey Loy who went to SCDS with me. We went to see the Imax movie The Alps. After the movie we walked around Denver's Museum of Nature and Science. We saw some great exhibits. Here are a few pictures from our visit.

June 6-8 Denver

On June 6th we went to see the Rockies vs. Brewers at Coors Field. The Rockies were down the entire game until the bottom of the 8th when they made a come back and ended up winning the game! We had a great time.

Sunday, June 8th - We went to the People's Fair in Downtown Denver. We ate food and walked around to the many vendors. We saw some cute dogs that were up for adoption and visited with the save the greyhounds group.

Tuesday - June 3, 2008 - REM at Red Rocks! What an amazing venue. It was a hike to get to our seats, but well worth it. Modest Mouse opened for REM.
